About this role

About the Role

Agentic Academy Labs is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to help amplify our voice across LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging short-form platforms. As an AI education company teaching students how to build with LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern dev tools, our content sits at the intersection of technical depth and accessible storytelling.

You'll work directly with the marketing lead to plan, create, and publish content that resonates with developers, students, and career-switchers across India and globally. This is a high-autonomy role where your ideas ship fast and your metrics matter.

What You Will Do

  • Content Calendar Ownership: Build and maintain weekly content calendars for LinkedIn and Instagram, balancing educational threads, student success stories, course launches, and community highlights
  • Short-Form Video Production: Conceptualize, script, and edit Reels/Shorts (30-90s) that break down AI concepts, showcase student projects, or share "day in the life" perspectives
  • Engagement & Community: Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions; respond promptly; surface FAQs to the product/education teams; run weekly engagement rituals (AMAs, polls, challenges)
  • Analytics & Iteration: Track reach, engagement rate, follower growth, and click-throughs; produce a weekly insights memo with 3 actionable recommendations
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with curriculum engineers for technical accuracy, design interns for visual assets, and the admissions team for conversion-focused campaigns
  • Trend Spotting: Identify trending audio, formats, and conversations in the AI/dev ed space; prototype 1-2 experimental posts per week

Why Join Us

  • Real Impact: Your content reaches 50,000+ aspiring AI builders monthly and directly influences enrollment decisions
  • Portfolio Gold: Ship published work weekly — threads with 10k+ impressions, Reels with 50k+ views, case studies you can showcase
  • Mentorship: Weekly 1:1s with a marketing lead who has scaled ed-tech communities from 0 to 100k+ followers
  • AI-First Tooling: Access to premium tools (Buffer, Canva Pro, CapCut, Notion AI, Typefully) and a budget for skill-up courses
  • Flexible Hours: 15-20 hrs/week on your schedule; async-first communication; no timezone constraints
  • Conversion Path: Top performers receive a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for a full-time Growth Marketing Associate role upon graduation

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Platform Fluency: Active LinkedIn and Instagram user who understands native formats (threads, carousels, Reels, Stories, newsletters)
  • Writing Craft: Can distill technical AI/ML concepts into clear, engaging copy for a student audience — no jargon without explanation
  • Visual Basics: Comfortable in Canva/Figma for carousels, thumbnails, quote cards; basic video editing in CapCut/Premiere/DaVinci
  • Consistency Bias: Track record of publishing consistently (personal blog, newsletter, student club page, or prior internship)
  • Data Curiosity: Comfortable reading insights dashboards; can explain why a post worked or flopped

Learning Goals (We'll Help You Build These)

  • Advanced LinkedIn algorithm mechanics (dwell time, comment velocity, network effects)
  • Instagram Reels retention editing (hooks, pacing, CTAs, loop design)
  • Content repurposing workflows: 1 long-form → 10+ atomic assets
  • Community building frameworks for developer education
  • UTM tracking, GA4 basics, and attribution modeling

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience running social for a student org, hackathon, newsletter, or early-stage startup
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools (Cursor, v0, Bolt, Replit Agent) — you'll be marketing to this crowd
  • Basic HTML/CSS or Python — helps you fact-check technical content independently
  • Portfolio link (Notion, Behance, personal site, or Google Drive folder with 3-5 samples)

Note: This is a remote internship open to students across India. No prior professional experience required — we value trajectory over pedigree. Include links to any public work (LinkedIn posts, Reels, newsletters, club pages) in your application.
