QA / Testing Intern

About the Role

Join Agentic Academy Labs as a QA / Testing Intern and help ensure that our AI education products deliver reliable, smooth, and user-friendly experiences. You will work with engineers, product builders, and designers to test web applications, learning tools, APIs, and AI-powered features across different browsers and devices.

This internship is ideal for students who enjoy finding problems, asking detailed questions, and thinking about how users interact with technology. You will gain practical experience in both manual and automated testing, from writing test cases and documenting defects to running regression checks and contributing to release quality. No previous professional QA experience is required, but you should be curious, methodical, and eager to learn.

What You Will Do

• Analyze product requirements and help create clear test plans, test cases, and checklists.
• Perform functional, usability, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
• Write clear bug reports that include reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, screenshots, and relevant technical details.
• Review fixes with developers and verify that resolved issues do not affect other features.
• Assist with automated testing workflows using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Test APIs, dashboards, authentication flows, and AI-powered learning experiences.
• Maintain test documentation and report quality trends to the engineering team.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release discussions.
• Suggest improvements that make products more stable, accessible, and easier to use.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent technical interest and experience.
• Familiarity with web browsers, websites, APIs, or basic software development concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow steps consistently while also thinking creatively about possible failures.
• Clear written communication and the ability to explain issues in a concise, organized manner.
• Comfort working remotely, collaborating asynchronously, and asking questions when needed.
• Willingness to learn manual testing, automated testing, Git, and issue tracking tools.
• A learning-focused mindset and genuine interest in quality assurance and technology.

Nice to Have

• Experience writing test cases or bug reports.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, or Jira.
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases, or Git workflows.
• Exposure to AI tools, LLM-based products, or educational technology platforms.
