Full Stack Developer Intern

About the Role

Join Agentic Academy Labs as a Full Stack Developer Intern and work on real product features that help students learn how to build with AI tools, LLMs, and modern web technologies. This is a hands-on remote internship for students who want to strengthen their development skills by contributing to a live educational platform used by learners across India.

You will work primarily with Next.js, Bun.js, PostgreSQL, and APIs, collaborating with engineers, product teammates, and education specialists to turn ideas into reliable product experiences. You will not only write code. You will also understand user needs, plan implementation work, test your changes, learn from feedback, and see how your contributions improve the platform.

What You Will Do

• Build and improve user-facing application features using Next.js and the React ecosystem.
• Develop backend services, integrations, and API endpoints using Bun.js.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data models for product features.
• Ship features through a structured workflow that includes planning, implementation, testing, code review, and iteration.
• Collaborate with product, design, and education teams to understand learner problems and deliver practical solutions.
• Troubleshoot bugs, improve performance, and contribute to a maintainable codebase.
• Document technical decisions, setup instructions, and product improvements for the team.
• Share ideas and learn from engineers working on products related to AI education and developer tools.

Requirements

• Strong interest in web development and a willingness to learn both frontend and backend technologies.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Working knowledge of React or a willingness to learn React and Next.js.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals, functions, data structures, and basic debugging.
• Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and accept constructive feedback.
• Self-motivation, curiosity, and consistency when working on remote projects.
