Flutter Mobile Developer Intern

About the Role

Join Agentic Academy Labs as a Flutter Mobile Developer Intern and help create mobile experiences that make learning AI, LLMs, and modern development approachable for students. You will work on practical Flutter applications that help learners explore lessons, complete projects, track progress, and connect with a community of future builders.

This is a hands-on remote internship focused on Flutter app development, API integration, product polish, and mobile UX. You will collaborate with engineers, product teammates, and designers while contributing features that reach real users. Since our team works remotely, clear communication, documentation, and proactive collaboration are important.

What You Will Do

• Build responsive and accessible Flutter features for Android and other supported mobile platforms.
• Integrate REST APIs, handle loading and error states, and work with authentication flows.
• Improve mobile UX through thoughtful navigation, reusable components, useful feedback, and consistent interaction patterns.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into polished Flutter interfaces.
• Identify and fix bugs, improve app performance, and participate in code reviews.
• Write clear technical documentation and contribute to an engineering knowledge base.
• Share ideas during sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Learn how mobile products are planned, developed, tested, and released in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Strong interest in mobile development and a willingness to learn Flutter and Dart.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or Dart.
• Understanding of basic programming concepts including variables, functions, data structures, and error handling.
• Ability to work independently, manage remote tasks, and communicate progress clearly.
• Attention to detail, especially for mobile UX, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Comfortable using Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong written communication skills and a proactive approach to asking for help.

Learning Goals

• Develop production-ready Flutter applications for real users.
• Learn how to consume REST APIs, structure application state, and handle asynchronous operations.
