SEO Intern

About the Role

Agentic Academy Labs is an AI education platform that teaches students how to build with AI tools, LLMs, and modern development frameworks. We are hiring an SEO Intern for our Marketing team in a fully remote internship open to students in India. In this role, you will help grow organic traffic by researching keywords, optimizing pages, learning technical SEO fundamentals, and writing content briefs that guide our publishing calendar. Whether you are studying marketing, communications, or computer science, this internship gives you practical SEO experience on a live website with real learners and measurable outcomes.

What You Will Do

• Perform keyword research with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Google Keyword Planner to uncover opportunities across AI, machine learning, and developer education topics
• Apply on-page SEO best practices to blog posts, course landing pages, and documentation, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, image alt text, and internal linking
• Learn technical SEO basics through guided site audits covering crawlability, indexing, page speed, mobile usability, and schema markup
• Create content briefs that map target keywords to search intent, suggest heading structures, and recommend internal links for our writers
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions in Google Search Console and Google Analytics, then present weekly performance updates
• Partner with content, design, and product teams so new pages launch fully optimized
• Maintain an SEO playbook documenting processes, wins, and experiments so the team can scale what works

Requirements

Required skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal English skills with attention to detail
• Genuine curiosity about how search engines work and comfort learning new tools quickly
• Basic familiarity with spreadsheets for tracking keywords, volumes, and performance data

Learning goals

• Build confidence with keyword research, on page optimization, and technical SEO fundamentals
• Understand how content briefs connect search intent to publishing strategy
• Learn to read performance data and turn insights into clear recommendations

Nice to haves

• Exposure to SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, or Google Search Console
• A personal blog, portfolio, or class project where you practiced SEO
