QA / Testing Intern

About the Role

As a QA / Testing Intern at Agentic Academy Labs in 2026, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-powered learning platform, course content, and developer tools used by thousands of students across India and globally. You’ll work closely with our engineering, product, and curriculum teams to catch bugs before they reach our users, improve our testing processes, and contribute to seamless release cycles for new features and course updates. This remote internship is designed for students who want hands-on experience in both manual and automated software testing, with a focus on real-world products in the fast-growing AI education space.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to execute manual test cases for new feature releases, course content updates, and LLM-powered tooling, covering functional, UI, and user experience testing
• Write, maintain, and run automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) to catch regressions and reduce manual testing overhead for recurring release cycles
• Log detailed, actionable bug reports in our issue tracking system, including clear reproduction steps, severity assessments, and environment details, and follow up with developers to validate fixes
• Participate in end-to-end release QA processes, including smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing for our biweekly platform and content releases, ensuring release quality meets our user standards
• Help build and scale our internal test case library, testing documentation, and QA best practices to support the growing engineering team
• Work with the curriculum team to test new AI course modules, coding exercises, and interactive learning tools for functionality, accessibility, and user experience

Requirements

Required

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Understanding of core manual testing concepts, including test case design, bug life cycle, regression testing, and smoke/sanity testing
• Basic familiarity with at least one automated testing framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar) or demonstrated willingness to learn new tools quickly
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot subtle UI, functional, and experience issues
• Strong written communication skills to create clear, actionable bug reports and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to commit 15-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate classes and exams

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Linear
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA integrates into continuous delivery workflows
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, or prior experience testing AI-powered applications
• Basic knowledge of performance or accessibility testing principles
