Frontend Developer Intern

About the Role

Join Agentic Academy Labs as a Frontend Developer Intern and help shape the future of AI education. You will build interactive learning experiences that empower thousands of students to master AI, LLMs, and modern development frameworks. Working closely with our design and product teams, you will translate beautiful Figma designs into production-ready React and Next.js applications. This is a hands-on remote internship where your code will ship to real users and directly impact how students learn to build with AI.

What You Will Do

• Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and Next.js that work flawlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs and ensure smooth design-to-code handoff
• Write clean, maintainable component libraries using TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern state management patterns
• Conduct accessibility audits and implement WCAG-compliant features so every student can engage with our platform
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies alongside experienced frontend engineers
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to our growing design system
• Optimize application performance and Core Web Vitals for a seamless learning experience

Required Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with React and component-based architecture
• Basic understanding of Next.js concepts such as routing, SSR, and SSG
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
• Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing at least one substantial frontend project

Learning Goals

• Master advanced React patterns, hooks, and performance optimization techniques
• Gain production experience with Next.js for server-rendered and static sites
• Learn accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles
• Understand design-to-code workflows using Figma and modern tooling
• Contribute to scalable component libraries and design systems

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with TypeScript and type-safe React development
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API
• Familiarity with testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
