Community Management Intern

About the Role

Join Agentic Academy Labs as a Community Management Intern, where you'll play a key role in building, nurturing, and scaling our growing global community of AI learners, builders, and enthusiasts. As a remote intern on our Community team, you'll work directly with our core community leads to create a welcoming, engaging, and safe space for students to connect, learn, and build with AI tools and LLMs. This role is perfect for students who are active in online communities, passionate about edtech and AI, and love bringing people together around shared learning goals. It's an ideal fit if you're looking to break into community management, edtech, or AI industries, and want to build tangible experience that stands out to employers. You'll get hands-on experience building community strategy from the ground up, while working flexible hours that fit around your academic schedule.

What You Will Do

• Discord & Community Forum Management: Moderate our official Discord server and learner forums, answer frequently asked questions about our courses and AI tools, create structured welcome threads, curated resource hubs, and discussion prompts to spark meaningful conversations among members. You'll also help organize server channels, set up role permissions, and integrate useful bots to streamline community operations.
• Event Planning & Execution: Support the end-to-end planning and running of virtual community events, including AMAs with AI industry experts, student-led project showcases, study jams, and introductory AI workshops. You'll coordinate with speakers, promote events across our channels, manage registrations, host sessions, and collect post-event feedback to improve future programming.
• Student Engagement & Growth: Design and run weekly engagement campaigns, highlight top student projects and contributions in our community channels, run surveys to gather feedback on course content and community experience, and collaborate with the curriculum and marketing teams to share updates about new course releases, AI tool tutorials, and learning opportunities.
• Moderation & Policy Enforcement: Uphold our community guidelines to ensure a safe, inclusive space for all members, resolve member conflicts fairly, escalate serious issues to the core team, and help update moderation policies as our community scales to 10,000+ members.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's or master's program (any stream; preference for Communications, Marketing, Education, Computer Science, or related fields)
• Active experience using Discord (familiarity with server management, roles, bots, and moderation tools) and/or community forum platforms (Discourse, Circle, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional Indian languages is a plus
• Basic familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, or edtech platforms
• Ability to commit 10–15 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months
• Proactive, empathetic, and comfortable resolving conflicts in a respectful, fair manner

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Prior experience running online communities, student clubs, or virtual events
• Familiarity with community management tools (Notion, Sprout Social, Canva, etc.)
• Experience creating short-form content (graphics, social posts, short videos) for community channels
• Active involvement in student organizations, hackathons, or AI/tech communities
• Interest in building AI projects or learning advanced AI development skills
