HR Intern
About this role
About the Role
We’re hiring a 2026 remote HR Intern to join the Operations team at Agentic Academy Labs, a fast-growing AI education platform that empowers students to build with LLMs, modern development frameworks, and AI tools. As we scale our intern hiring pipeline to bring on 100+ student interns across engineering, design, marketing, and more this year, this role is hands-on, high-impact, and focused on building the people processes that make our intern programs stand out. You won’t be stuck doing busywork: you’ll own pieces of our end-to-end intern hiring, onboarding, and people operations workflows, with direct mentorship from our Head of Operations.
What You Will Do
Your work will center on the three core focus areas for this role:
- Internship Hiring Operations: Support the full lifecycle of intern recruitment, from posting open roles on student-focused platforms (like Internshala, LinkedIn, and college placement portals) to tracking applicant progress in our ATS. You’ll help refine our hiring criteria for intern roles to ensure we’re sourcing diverse, high-potential candidates.
- Candidate Screening: Review intern applications, conduct initial 15-minute screening calls to assess fit for open roles, and share shortlisted candidates with hiring managers. You’ll also help draft screening rubrics to make our evaluation process more consistent and equitable.
- Intern Onboarding & People Processes: Build and refine our intern onboarding playbooks, coordinate new hire paperwork and tool access, run virtual welcome sessions for new intern cohorts, and conduct 30-day check-ins to gather feedback and address early roadblocks. You’ll also support ongoing people operations work, including drafting intern policy docs, coordinating virtual team engagement events, and assisting with intern performance check-in logistics.
Why Join Us
This remote, paid internship is designed to fit around your college schedule, with flexible 15-20 hour per week requirements and no mandatory in-person hours, plus a monthly stipend to recognize your contributions. You’ll gain hands-on, resume-worthy experience with core HR and people operations functions at a fast-growing AI startup, rather than just completing administrative busywork. You’ll learn to use industry-standard HR tech tools (including our ATS, Notion, and Slack), get 1:1 mentorship from our experienced Operations lead, and build a professional network across our full-time and intern teams.
As a team focused on AI education, you’ll also get free, unlimited access to all of our AI upskilling courses to build your own skills during the internship. Strong performers will receive a formal letter of recommendation, and top interns may be considered for full-time roles post-graduation. We also host regular virtual social events for our intern cohort, so you’ll build connections with other students working in AI and tech across the country.
