About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA / Testing Intern to join our Engineering team at Agentic Academy Labs. As a QA Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI education platform. You will get hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing processes, learn how to write clear and effective bug reports, and contribute to maintaining high release quality standards. This is a remote internship designed for students who are passionate about software quality and want to grow their testing skills in a real-world environment.

What You Will Do

  • Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and functional gaps.
  • Assist in writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and test cases.
  • Document detailed bug reports with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and screenshots.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to triage and verify fixes.
  • Participate in test planning and review sessions for upcoming releases.
  • Learn and apply testing best practices, including regression testing and exploratory testing.
  • Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for finding bugs and improving quality.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting issues and collaborating with teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage your own schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or database querying.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools or scripting languages such as Python.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with web or mobile application testing.
  • Understanding of Agile or Scrum development processes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Completed coursework or personal projects related to software testing or QA.
