DevOps Intern

About the Role

Ready to dive into the world of DevOps and ship real software used by thousands of learners? As a DevOps Intern at Agentic Academy Labs, you'll work hands-on with our Engineering team to build, maintain, and improve the CI/CD pipelines that power our AI education platform. From automating deployments to setting up monitoring for our academy products, your work will directly impact how smoothly our students learn and build with AI tools. This is a remote-first internship designed for students who want to gain real-world DevOps experience while contributing to products that matter.

What You Will Do

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for academy applications
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and reduce release friction
• Set up and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) supporting our learning platform
• Configure logging, alerting, and basic observability tools to track system health
• Help automate routine operations tasks and document best practices
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response under mentor guidance
• Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Contribute to internal tooling that makes engineering workflows faster and more reliable

Requirements

Skills You Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and web application architecture
• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Eagerness to learn and experiment with new technologies

Learning Goals

• Gain hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• Learn Infrastructure as Code concepts and apply them in real environments
• Understand monitoring and logging strategies for cloud applications
• Develop troubleshooting skills for deployment and infrastructure issues
• Build collaboration skills in a remote engineering team setting

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
