About the Role

Agentic Academy Labs is shaping the future of AI education, and our Engineering team is looking for a curious Data Science Intern to join us in 2026. In this role, you will work hands-on with real data to uncover insights that drive product decisions and improve learning outcomes for thousands of students building with AI. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and curriculum designers to turn raw data into clear, actionable stories.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze user engagement, course completion, and learning outcome data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using modern analytics tools to visualize product and educational metrics
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from our data warehouse
  • Partner with the product team to define key metrics and measure the impact of new features
  • Create automated reports and insights pipelines to support data-driven decision making across the organization
  • Document findings and present recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to experiments and A/B tests that guide product and curriculum improvements

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with querying and analyzing relational databases
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly

Learning Goals

  • Gain hands-on experience building production-ready dashboards and analytics workflows
  • Learn how data science drives product and curriculum decisions in an education technology context
  • Develop skills in metric design, experimentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Understand how to work with educational and product data to drive measurable impact
