Assistant Manager - Gen AI

KPMG is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead Generative AI product initiatives within our Technology Consulting practice. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-powered products—from ideation and requirement gathering through model selection, prompt engineering, and deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, ML engineers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable GenAI solutions for clients across industries.

Key responsibilities include defining product vision and roadmap for GenAI offerings, conducting market research and competitive analysis, prioritizing features based on business value and technical feasibility, and overseeing agile development sprints. You will also establish metrics for model performance, user adoption, and ROI, and present findings to senior leadership.

This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and custom AI agents. You will be based in the Delhi NCR region with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements. • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML products
• Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies: LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and agentic workflows
• Proven track record of shipping AI products from concept to production in enterprise or consulting environments
• Strong analytical skills with ability to define and track KPIs for AI model performance and business impact
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-level executives
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence
• Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI) and MLOps practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
