Open Source LLM Training Generative AI/ML Internship

This internship focuses on open-source large language model training and generative AI/ML development. The selected intern will support hands-on work related to model training workflows, dataset preparation, prompt engineering, evaluation, and experimentation with open-source generative AI tools. Responsibilities may include cleaning and curating training data, running baseline experiments, monitoring training metrics, documenting findings, and contributing to reproducible ML pipelines. The role is suitable for candidates interested in applied machine learning, natural language processing, and open-source AI ecosystems. Interns may collaborate with mentors or project contributors to improve model performance, test new approaches, and prepare technical reports. The position emphasizes practical learning, experimentation, and responsible use of AI technologies. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, reading technical documentation, and iterating on experiments. Final deliverables may include code contributions, experiment summaries, evaluation results, and recommendations for future model improvements.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of Python and machine learning concepts
• Interest in open-source large language models and generative AI
• Experience with data preprocessing, model evaluation, or NLP is preferred
• Familiarity with Git, Jupyter notebooks, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face is a plus
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work remotely and manage internship tasks effectively
