Chopping Block is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that powers AI and machine learning products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with ML engineers, data scientists, and software developers to streamline the path from model development to production deployment. You will own CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and observability systems, ensuring that AI workloads run reliably, securely, and at scale.
You will be responsible for implementing infrastructure-as-code practices, automating environment provisioning, and managing Kubernetes clusters that serve machine learning models. The role also involves monitoring system performance, optimizing cloud costs, and establishing security and compliance guardrails across development, staging, and production environments. You will troubleshoot complex production incidents, drive blameless postmortems, and continuously improve deployment frequency and system reliability.
