About the Role

We are seeking motivated AI/ML Engineer Interns to join cutting‑edge Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) projects across top‑tier companies listed on Naukri.com. This internship offers hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art models such as GPT, BERT, LLaMA, and custom fine‑tuned architectures. You will collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to design, train, evaluate, and deploy LLM‑powered applications for real‑world use cases including chatbots, content generation, code assistance, and semantic search.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data preprocessing, tokenization, and augmentation for LLM training pipelines.
• Implement and experiment with parameter‑efficient fine‑tuning techniques (LoRA, Adapters, Prompt Tuning).
• Benchmark model performance on standard NLP tasks and domain‑specific datasets.
• Contribute to model optimization (quantization, distillation, ONNX/TensorRT export) for production deployment.
• Write clean, modular Python code using PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and Accelerate.
• Document experiments, maintain reproducibility logs, and present findings in weekly syncs.

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/M.Tech/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (2025‑2026 batch preferred).
• Strong Python programming skills; familiarity with PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of transformer architecture, attention mechanisms, and LLM fundamentals.
• Experience with Hugging Face ecosystem (Transformers, Datasets, Accelerate, PEFT).
• Exposure to NLP tasks: text classification, generation, summarization, or question answering.
• Basics of distributed training (FSDP, DeepSpeed) and model compression a plus.
• Good communication skills; ability to write technical blogs or internal reports.
• Available for 3–6 month internship duration.
