About this role
Apple's AI Solutions Engineering team builds the intelligent systems that power experiences across iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and services used by billions. As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will bridge cutting‑edge research and production‑grade deployment, designing scalable ML pipelines, optimizing models for on‑device inference, and collaborating with product teams to deliver magical user experiences. You’ll work with frameworks like Core ML, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, and leverage Apple’s custom silicon to push the boundaries of performance and privacy. This role demands a blend of deep learning expertise, software engineering rigor, and a passion for shipping products that delight customers worldwide.
Requirements
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- 3+ years building and deploying ML models in production
- Strong proficiency in Python, Swift, or C++
- Experience with Core ML, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX
- Solid understanding of model optimization, quantization, and on‑device inference
- Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, and scalable data pipelines
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
